Entergy says they've fired an employee who falsified meter readings.
His falsified bills resulted in customers paying incorrect bills for months.
The company says the recently fired employee is responsible for the most recent billing issue, where some customers reported seeing their energy bills more than triple since last month.
Customers impacted will have the opportunity to set up a payment plan, and their service will not be disconnected.
