The accused getaway driver in the 2016 murder of a Raising Cane's restaurant manager in Kenner is headed to prison for 40 years.

That's the sentence handed to 27-year-old Mark Crocklen Jr. following his guilty plea to manslaughter and other charges. He was facing trial on a second-degree murder charge in the stabbing death of 21-year-old Taylor Friloux.

Joshua Every, who allegedly stabbed Friloux, is facing a possible death sentence if convicted of first-degree murder.
