Tonight's Mega Millions jackpot has reached $1 billion, the largest prize in the lottery's history.
If someone wins tonight and chooses the cash option, they would walk away with at least $565 million before taxes.
Those buying tickets told NBC's Today that if they won, they would "fill my bathtub with cash", "get a trip out of that thing", and "I'd think I'd probably scream and run around the house."
Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot for Saturday continues to climb and has reached $430 million with a cash option of $248 million.
