City Hall may open rooms for at-risk youth to receive counseling.

Mayor LaToya Cantrell announced these plans as part of a new strategy from the Office of Youth and Families.

The so-called "meditation rooms" will have interfaith sessions involving religious leaders who volunteer to counsel.

The mayor emphasized the need for such rooms by listing juvenile crime reports.

A 311 call line for worried parents was enacted earlier this month as part of the same strategy.
