Ricky Rubio finished with 28 points and 12 assists as the Jazz beat the Pelicans 132-111 in New Orleans.

Rudy Gobert contributed 25 points and 14 rebounds to the Utah victory. The Jazz have won the first two of this four-game trip and improved to 3-and-2 overall.

Nikola Mirotic led New Orleans with 25 points, while Jrue Holiday added 18 points.

"We started the game in the right way, we were moving the ball, and getting the shots that we needed," said Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry. "I thought defensively we were pretty solid in what we were doing."

But then the Jazz outscored the Pelicans by 18 points in the second quarter. "Start of the second quarter, we went away from what we were doing. I thought we had too many bad shots, number one. We tried to do things we weren't capable of doing," said Gentry.

He added the Pelicans need to stop trying to do too much. "But we have to follow the game plan. We've just got to get better at making good decisions in our offense from the standpoint of ball movement, shot selection, things like that and not try to do things we're not capable of doing."

The Pelicans (4-1) face the Nuggets (4-1) in Denver Monday night.
