Rent is continuing to rise and a number of New Orleans residents claim they are being pushed out of their neighborhoods.
The Greater New Orleans Housing Alliance is working to change that, announcing a "Put Housing First March" to fight for affordable housing in New Orleans.
It's set to begin at Congo Square in Armstrong Park at 10:30 a.m. Saturday and will move through Treme, Tulane and Downtown before ending with a rally.
The organization created a ten-year plan to ensure affordable housing for all New Orleans residents.
