Some Slidell parents are outraged after their seven and eight-year-olds knelt during the national anthem.

As the anthem began playing at the Slidell Youth Football Association championship games, an assistant coach took a knee. The youth on the team then followed suit, leading parents to question who encouraged their children to kneel.

The Slidell Youth Football Association said they'll address the matter at the next meeting, and they will not be allowing coaches to bring their political views into the child's game.
