Baton Rouge Among Worst Cities For Veterans

A new study by WalletHub has determined Baton Rouge is among the worst cities for veterans to live in.

The study looked at key indicators such as livability, affordability, military-related skill jobs and even VA health facilities across 100 of the largest cities in the US.

Baton Rouge came in 93rd overall.

The study also found Baton Rouge to be among the top five cities for highest veteran employment rates and had the highest percentage of veterans living in poverty.

New Orleans was ranked significantly higher on the list, snagging the 59th spot.
