BREAKING: Jeff Sessions Resigns As Attorney General

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is resigning at the request of President Trump.

In a tweet, Trump said Matthew Whitaker, Chief of Staff to Attorney General Sessions, will become the new acting Attorney General of the United States. Trump added Whitaker will serve our country well.

Trump also thanked Sessions for his service and wished him well, adding a permanent replacement will be nominated at a later date.
