A physical education teacher at St. Rita Catholic School in Jefferson Parish is scheduled to make his first court appearance today following his arrest Sunday for allegedly having inappropriate contact with three female students.
Harahan police arrested Kerner Schaubhut on charges of molestation of a juvenile, prohibited sexual conduct with a student and indecent behavior with a juvenile.
The matter has been under investigation since September leading to Schaubhut being placed on administrative leave last month.
