Auditors Report Big Problems At Sewerage And Water Board

State auditors are sounding the alarm over severe mismanagement at the Sewerage and Water Board.

In a new report released Monday, officials in the auditor's office said the S&WB isn't keeping proper paperwork or oversight over its millions of dollars in contracts with outside companies.

Auditors said that could make the agency, which is severely in debt, vulnerable to being way overcharged.
