You can expect to see a lot of Louisiana State Police on the roadways between now and midnight Sunday.
Troopers will be working to keep the interstates and state highways safe by targeting impaired and aggressive drivers and enforcing the state's seatbelt law.
Fifteen people were killed during the Thanksgiving holiday period last year in Louisiana. There were more than 550 crashes involving injuries, nearly half of the wrecks involving drivers who were under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
