A southeast Louisiana teen is headed to prison for life after admitting his guilt Monday to attacking a Kenner couple with a hammer in July of last year.
Sentencing for 17-year-old Vincenzo "Jake" Randazzo took place at the Jefferson Parish Courthouse. He pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the death of 89-year-old Phillip Lynch and the attempted murder of Lynch's wife who was attacked when she tried to intervene.
Randazzo will be eligible for parole after he serves 25 years of his sentence.
