The Orleans Parish School System is giving the historic John McDonogh High School Building a new life.
Following a nearly $35 million renovation, the building is now home to Bricolage Academy, a charter school teaching pre-K through fifth-grade students.
The money used to complete the renovation of the century-old building mostly came from a FEMA settlement after Hurricane Katrina.
