The average price of regular gasoline is now below $2.15 a gallon in Louisiana, according to AAA.
The travel group saying drivers in the state are forking over ten cents less for the fuel compared to last Wednesday and 35 cents less than a month ago. In fact, the fuel is about 15 cents cheaper that it was at this time last year.
Some stations in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans areas are charging between a $1.82 and a $1.85 for regular.
