A 73-year-old man from Massachusetts is under arrest in connection with two rapes reported when he lived in Jefferson Parish during the 1970s.
Jason Franklin, Sr., who now resides in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, was arrested on two counts of aggravated rape. He's accused of raping a boy and girl on multiple occasions who were between the ages of two and seven when the crimes were reported.
Investigators say Franklin is a registered sex offender following his 2011 conviction for child porn in Kentucky.
An investigation is still underway for other possible victims.
