A man accused of killing two people in New Orleans East will be facing another charge after he gets out of the hospital.
Authorities say that 28-year-old Kenneth Augustine carried out a failed escape attempt from the Orleans Justice Center on Sunday. The sheriff's office says he stood on a railing and fell to the floor while trying to climb through the ceiling in a bid for freedom.
Augustine was last reported in stable condition.
