The year 2019 is starting off with gas prices still edging lower as they did almost daily during most of the last quarter of 2018.
AAA reports the statewide average price of regular has dropped to a $1.95 a gallon, down a nickel from the week ago average of $2.
Compared to a month ago, drivers in the state are paying about a quarter less per gallon for the fuel.
