If you haven't taken the time to get a flu shot this season, perhaps this will spur you to do so.
Officials with the Centers for Disease Control say high flu activity is being reported in Louisiana and eight other states.
Fortunately, infectious disease experts say the same strain of flu is making the rounds this year that sickened people in the state last year. The current season's vaccine is formulated to address the flu strain.
