One of the stars of the TV sitcom Dukes of Hazzard is about to lose a 57-acre tract of land in Livingston Parish.
The property is the site of John Schneider Studio and is to be auctioned off on January 16th.
Schneider was on the losing end of a lawsuit filed by First Guaranty Bank that determined he had defaulted on his mortgage and owes more than $240,000. The bank is hoping to recover the debt through the sale of the property located in Holden.
