Clerk Of Criminal Court Sues New Orleans City Council Again

It's all too obvious that Clerk of Criminal Court Arthur Morrell and the New Orleans City Council are at odds on funding dollars for the agency.

NOLA.com reports that Morrell filed suit Friday after the council kept Morrell's budget at $3.7 million, the same as last year.

He says they did so without his input, even though he says it should be about $900,000 higher.

Morrell has successfully sued the city before over the budget.
