A man convicted last November in the execution-style slayings of three people in Metairie two years ago will serve three life sentences without a chance of parole or suspension of his sentence.

A Jefferson Parish judge doled out the punishment yesterday to Corey Woods.

The second-degree murder convictions were for the shooting deaths of Woods' friend Malcolm Wallace, Wallace's 16-year-old sister and Wallace's girlfriend. Prosecutors say Woods carried out the killings as a favor to another friend while the four were returning from a store in a car.
