Authorities are upping the reward for information as they attempt to track down the person or people responsible for murdering a woman and her teenage son in their Tangipahoa Parish home.

Deputies responded to the shots-fired call on the Sunday before Christmas to find 42-year-old Daytra Miller and her son, 13-year-old Robert West Jr., dead at the scene.

The reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction was increased Tuesday to $10,000. Thus far, the sheriff's office has not released any motive or suspect information other than to say they believe the shooter knew the victims.
