Despite a partial federal government shutdown and his battle with Congress on the need for a border wall, President Trump will be in New Orleans next week.
The White House advises that he'll be addressing those attending the American Farm Bureau's annual convention on Monday. That event, with more than 7,000 in attendance, is taking place at the Morial Convention Center.
No other stops in the New Orleans area are planned at this point.
