Come next month, the New Orleans City Council will hold two public hearings to get input on the panel's reconsideration of its earlier approval of an Entergy power plant in New Orleans East.
The possible re-vote on the project comes after it was determined that initial public support came largely from paid actors hired by a third-party Entergy consultant.
The reconsideration had originally been set for tomorrow, but was postponed to allow for more discussions.
The matter will be the subject of council hearings on February 13th and 21st.
