Results of a just released poll show Democratic Governor John Bel Edwards heavily favored over his two Republican challengers ahead of the October primary election.
The survey conducted by LJR Custom Strategies for Education Reform Now Advocacy shows 45% would vote for Edwards if the election were held today.
17% favored U.S. Representative Ralph Abraham, while 4% would vote for Baton Rouge businessman Eddie Rispone.
32% still haven't made up their minds.
