Big changes could be coming to the Jefferson Parish public schools.
Superintendent Cade Brumley released a plan yesterday that proposes the closing of three elementary schools and the expansion of nine other schools.
It'll be the subject of a school board public hearing on March 13th in Harvey.
If adopted, the changes, including the reassignment of thousands of students, would take place over the summer and could save the district more than a million dollars a year.
