With rain moving through the area this afternoon, City of New Orleans officials have made another change to the start times for parades.
The start of the first parade, Babylon, will be pushed back to 7 p.m. Chaos and Muses will follow, starting no later than 8 p.m.
"The City of New Orleans, New Orleans Police Department, and the New Orleans Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness are working with krewes to make scheduling determinations, which ultimately are based on public safety," read a press release.
