Getting through Mississippi to New Orleans by train is not always a sure thing.
It's happened before and it happened again yesterday when Amtrak passengers wound up being bused from Jackson to the Big Easy, this time because of flooding.
The Canadian-National Railroad was forced to close the route used by the City of New Orleans because of water covering a stretch of the tracks.
