he Mississippi River at New Orleans is under a flood warning.
It was issued yesterday as the river is expected to reach minor flood stage at 17 feet on Saturday. It's expected to remain there for about two weeks, but the National Weather Service emphasizes that the levees protect New Orleans from a river level of up to 20 feet.
However, the Weather Service says navigation will be impacted.
