The search is on for a man who robbed a bicyclist in New Orleans yesterday morning, striking him with an aluminum baseball bat in the process.
The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. on the Lafitte Greenway in Treme. The armed robber stopped the biker, hit him with the bat and robbed him of his cellphone and wallet.
The crook also demanded the pin for the phone, the victim complied and the robber ran off on foot.
