Louisiana SNAP beneficiaries will be receiving their April benefits on a modified schedule.
This comes as the Department of Children and Family Services works to transition back to the regular schedule that was interrupted by the partial federal government shutdown.
In April, recipients who usually receive their benefits between the first through the 9th will be issued their benefits on their regular date.
Those who normally receive their benefits on the 10th through the 14th of each month, however, will be issued their benefits on April 9th.
