The New Orleans Recreation Development Commission is looking to fill more than 150 lifeguard positions this upcoming pool season.
Those interested must be at least 16 and don't need prior lifeguarding experience, but must know how to swim. NORD will train and prepare all qualified candidates to become lifeguard-certified free of charge.
Hiring sessions are being held weekly on Tuesday nights at 6:30 starting March 26th through May 7th at the Milne Recreation Center.
