Gas prices are continuing to rise in Louisiana and elsewhere in the nation as the demand for fuel increases and fuel inventories tighten.
That's the word from AAA, the travel group saying that the average price of regular in the Pelican State has climbed above $2.39 a gallon, up a nickel from last Friday. Drivers are forking over about a quarter more for regular compared to a month ago.
