The shooting happened in October of last year outside a Waffle House restaurant leaving 34-year-old Theodore Jones, also known as "Young Greatness," dead at the scene. The New Orleans native had relocated to Houston after Hurricane Katrina and was back in town to attend a funeral.

The suspects in his killing, Donald Reaux, Donny Maxwell and the juvenile, are all facing charges that include second-degree murder, armed robbery and obstruction of justice.
