No New Orleans Infrastructure Deal

There is no infrastructure deal between New Orleans, Louisiana, and tourism leaders.

Mayor LaToya Cantrell's Office says negotiators have made progress, but no agreement will be reached before next week's legislative session begins. Governor John Bel Edwards' general counsel tells The Times-Picayune both sides still have some ways to go in their discussions.

Cantrell says the city needs at least $75 million to immediately fix sewage and water system needs.
