After serving a week-long suspension, some seniors at a New Orleans charter school are being told they cannot walk at their graduation for taking part in a senior prank last week.
Sophie B. Wright Charter School released a statement saying criminal or civil action could be taken after a prank involving water guns and water balloons left a teacher and student injured. School officials say they were aware of a potential prank and warned students not to participate.
Many parents say the students may owe the school an apology, but the punishment is way too harsh.
