Three people are injured following a shooting late Wednesday afternoon near a New Orleans East school.
The gunfire erupted in the area of Curtis Drive, not far from Kenilworth Park and Mildred Osborne Charter School. None of the children playing outside were harmed, but two victims were found behind the school and a third was transported by private vehicle to the hospital.
No identities, updated conditions or motive and suspect information were available as of early this morning.
