A New Orleans bounce artist/rapper is charged with child desertion after allegedly summoning a ride-share vehicle to a home in Chalmette to take her five-year-old to school.

The incident happened this past Tuesday.

"GameOva Reedy," whose real name is Reiona Oliver, was arrested after the Lyft driver took the child to a substation of the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office.

In an Instagram post, Oliver says she wasn't feeling well at the time, telling the Lyft driver it was okay to do what she was having him do.
