The Audubon Zoo is working with the Louisiana SPCA to help shelter cats find their new furr-ever homes.

Zoo officials say they recently got four new lions as part of a conservation effort to protect endangered species all over the globe. As a way to honor the new felines, the Zoo wants to encourage people to adopt cats of their own.

Throughout the month of May, anyone who adopts a cat from the Louisiana SPCA will receive a free ticket to the Audubon Zoo.
