A crawfish farmer is in hot water after attempting to run over pedestrians catching crawfish in a roadside ditch.
Officials with the Jeff Davis Sheriff's Office say the incident took place at the intersection of LA 26 and LA 1126 on April 18th. Video shows the farmer, identified as 57-year-old Dwight Hollier, driving on the shoulder of the road, narrowly missing about a dozen pedestrians.
A warrant was signed for his arrest, and he was taken into custody yesterday.
