Former Northshore District Attorney Walter Reed will report to prison on Friday to begin his sentence after a federal judge denied his request to delay his prison start time.

Reed announced he had cancer in April, but had already been granted two extensions leading up to his April 1st sentencing date.

He is facing four years behind bars for an 18-count conviction, where Reed was found guilty of conspiracy to commit money laundering, mail fraud and wire fraud.
