New Orleans Police say a fatal motorcycle accident happened this afternoon in Algiers.
According to police, the motorcyclist was driving at a high speed when he hit a Mercedes Benz that made a left turn in front of him at the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard and General DeGaulle Drive. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
An investigation is underway to determine more details surrounding the crash.
