Louisiana's Workforce Commission is partnering with state parks to hire individuals with disabilities and special needs for summer jobs.
The partnership is part of the Louisiana Rehabilitation Services program, helping people who have disabilities or special needs maintain independence.
This marks the second year of the partnership, with half of last year's summer hires becoming permanent employees.
Eligible applicants can apply for the position at their local services office or at any of the state's 21 parks.
