New Orleans Police are investigating after the dean of the Andrew Wilson Charter School in Broadmoor was killed over the weekend.
According to reports released yesterday, longtime educator Reginald Field was shot and killed near Tureaud Avenue in the Seventh Ward early Sunday morning. Witnesses say Field was leaving Bullet's Sports Bar with a friend just after Midnight when he was gunned down about a half a block away.
Authorities are also looking into accounts which claim Field may have been ambushed by someone waiting for him outside the bar.
