A man is in custody in connection to a violent murder spree yesterday in Jefferson Parish.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office says they have arrested a suspect who is believed to have killed two people on West Metairie Avenue and another person just blocks away.
Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joe Lopinto declined to identify the man but said he surrendered to authorities without incident.
Officials declined to release the names of the victims and said another person was wounded during the violence, but their injuries are non-life threatening.
