Jefferson Parish Landfill Repair Could Cost $8 Million

Jefferson Parish Council members are inspecting a study performed on their odorous landfill by Carlson Environmental.

The company estimates that the four-stage repair process will require at least $8 million and may take a year-and-a-half to complete.

Multiple media outlets say the parish has already spent million of dollars to fix the stench floating throughout parts of the parish.
