Louisiana Senator John Kennedy is pushing for increased access to generic drugs.
Kennedy is among several lawmakers in D.C. that are working to change healthcare as we know it, saying he wants the medical billing process to be simplified and he wants to make generic drugs more accessible.
He's also backing a number of bills that are placing restrictions on pharmaceutical companies.
