Clinton's former police chief Fred Dunn has been jailed for a third time and is facing charges for possession of stolen goods.

State police confirmed on Thursday that Dunn was booked into jail during the holiday, but couldn't offer additional details about the case.

Dunn resigned as the Clinton Police Chief in 2018 after he was arrested on charges of felony theft and malfeasance in office.

Dunn was accused of taking $8,000 from the department's narcotics account to use for his own personal expenses.

He was arrested twice last year in the span of two months.
