Voters are reacting after a series of speeches at this year's Essence Fest by several Democratic presidential candidates.
Essence Fest is the largest gathering of African-American women in the United States.
Senators Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, and Elizabeth Warren along with former congressman Beto O'Rourke and Indiana mayor Pete Buttigieg spoke at the event.
The candidates laid out several policy goals, including tax credits for low-income families, universal childcare, homeowner assistance, and help for minority-owned businesses.
